HM Top (In store only). Philip Lim Pants (LOVE the cropped version and similar less expensive version). Vintage Bag. Heels. Sunglasses (similar). Bracelet.

Neutral colors, timeless silhouettes and unexpected details are elements I would say characterize my closet the most. Primarily because I feel like it gives me so much flexibility to maximize how I style many of the same pieces to always create a different look each time without feeling like I'm stuck in a wardrobe rut. For so long I've always felt a bit lost in trying to explain my style to other people. I enjoy playing around with different trends, but definitely wouldn't categorize myself as "trendy." And on the other end, I'm not so classic that it translates to boring (at least I hope not, ha!). Finally after picking the brains of a few of my closest confidants, I came to the realization that really what defines my sense of style is a strong focus on doing more with less—wearing the same things over and over, year after year, so long as it's a different approach each time, and certainly not confining myself to any sort of "rules." I suppose we could call me a minimalist with an edge?!

Have any of you struggled with figuring out what defines your style too?
